A little cookout in the hills.

We headed up into the hills with some of the University ex-pats. The day before, they had gone to scout out the perfect spot, and today we picnicked in it. We called it our "War Time Picnic." It was a great chance to not think about any of the stuff that goes wrong from day to day. We went and returned without incident, the food cooked without interruption (except for the sound of the sheep bells ringing in the nearby hills, and we relaxed. Long overdue and well-needed.

Ex-pat picnic under the trees.

We walked back to town by way of our shepherd friend, getting acquainted with the new baby sheep.
