Marthame went back into Jenin to deal with the new letterhead. Nothing to report - traveling by one of the older paths to get from Zababdeh to Jenin, with a detour through the fields. Brings back memories of the first time we took the Palestinian version of the bypass road...

Friends and neighbors catching up.

We also got a chance to visit with one of our dear friends here who has been outside of Zababdeh since last Easter. Her son lives in Chicago, and we met him before we came to Zababdeh. We have missed her - and her cooking! - dearly. We had a nice visit as we sat out on her porch and looked over her fruit trees and the rest of Zababdeh. Neighbors came by to say hello - they had missed her, too. Visiting is more than just an activity here, it's a way of life. And her porch gives a great location for people-watching.
