News of the new UN Resolution is welcome, but the stance that the US has taken (abstaining) merely underscores more Palestinian frustration with American policy in the Middle East. Can't say we disagree with the Palestinians on this point.

Marthame went off in the evening to the school to join in the soccer activities. It's been a few months, and quite a bit of rust has collected. At least everyone seemed to notice that he wasn't up to his usual abilities - a silver lining to an otherwise dark cloud.
