Elizabeth proctored her eighth graders' exam today while Marthame stayed at home - a stomach flu hit him last night, which fortunately ended up to be a 24-hour deal. The cold weather seems to keep our defenses at a low point. As if to prove this point, no sooner was Marthame feeling better than Elizabeth started in with a sort throat - not before going up to the University (for an absent Marthame) to meet with the students who will be working with the American students coming in January. It is a good group and they are eager to welcome their guests who will travel a long way to meet them.

Palestinian hospitality is an all-ages experience.

One of the casualties of the last two years has been Palestinian hospitality - famous for its generosity, it has not had many opportunities to extend itself over the last two years.
