Meetings with the English Club are progressing, if slowly. We are trying to encourage the students to develop their own leadership in the club. We're beginning by developing ideas around a school newspaper which would talk about the activities of the club (in English, of course). The students are excited about it.

Kids are also rallying around their flag here - something in common between Americans and Palestinians. There's something about the power of that symbol that causes people to gravitate to it when people are killed.
