Today we prayed at the Melkite church, where we haven't been in a long time. After mass, we visited with Fr. Firas and his extended family. We will miss these wonderful people terribly when we leave.

The international language of music.

This evening Fr. Aktham, Deacon Imad, and the French volunteer Veronique joined us for supper, which was bread and shakshouka (tomato, onion and egg dish) with assorted sides (yogurt cheese, yogurt, za'atar, olive oil, sautéed zucchini). Later the guitar came out and we sang songs over our coffee.
