The olive trees of Palestine are a beautiful sight to behold.

Marthame wet off to film Fr. Firas in the hills today, interviewing him under the olive trees. Our guests went off to Jenin and Jenin Camp, while Elizabeth stayed attached to the computer. Early in the afternoon, Marthame arrived home with a very dour look. The video camera is eating cassettes. He managed one hour of interview before it consumed four digital cassettes. This is very very bad news for our film project. Without the camera we can neither get new footage nor edit existing footage. We're not happy.
