Israeli military presence is a familiar, albeit unwelcome, sight these days.

After a late night putting the finishing touches on our latest update, we went to school, half-expecting to find the Jenin students around. No such luck - the lifting of the internal siege was for four hours, and four hours only. Not only that, but our Qabatia teachers and students were absent. Three tanks left the edge of Qabatia by way of the military/settler bypass road, but by 10:00 it was too late to bring kids to school. Ugh.
