Our return visit to Burqin will have to wait.

Our visit to Burqin was in question up until the last minute. Every year, the last Sunday before Western Christmas, the Orthodox community goes to Burqin and the Church of the Ten Lepers to celebrate and worship with the remnant community there. Unfortunately, it was deemed too risky to go this year, as we discovered late last night. Perhaps next year...?

In the meantime, Marthame managed to infect the laptop with a particularly nasty virus, one which arrives when the computer is dropped on the marble floor. A few bumps and bruises, and no data. Eeep. Hope we can at least retrieve our holiday host's phone number...
