Candles in the Latin Church.

Today is Ash Wednesday as Lent begins. The service as the Latin Church was packed, as third period at school today gave way to worship. Marthame and Abuna each served the communion wafers (tricky business, this feeding the multitudes - they do it "Old School" style, being fed by the priest). The Anglicans had their service in the afternoon, and Marthame was invited to read the gospel text. Did someone say "high church"?
