There were two masses today. The first took place during school in memory and honor of all of the martyrs of the current Intifada. The second was in the afternoon, in memory of all those who had died during the last year (we remembered later that it was - approximately - All Saints' Day).

The village cemetery is a sacred place.

Following church was a procession to the cemetery to remember the dead. As we left, families of the grieving were giving candy to all those who came. Somehow a more honorable way of doing Halloween.
