Hot Springs of Tayasir
Days after our arrival, we took a trip with Abuna Louis to the warm spring near Tayasir, which had delicious date palms and gooey green plant life.
Kids from the friendly Bedouin family living here threw stones at the tree to make the dates fall. They gave us many, and they were delicious.
The water was really really warm, and the plant life around the outpouring was really green and really really gooey. There were interesting, large round seeds floating in the water. I picked up a couple to investigate and discovered....slimy goat poops! Eeww.
